They should get his testimony now. But they’re slow walking everything.

In Texas, the governor would appoint a temporary senator who would serve till a special election is held. There is no primary. All candidates run in one election. If no candidate wins a majority, the top two candidates face each other in a runoff.

In Illinois, the governor tries to sell the vacant seat for the best deal he can find, winds up being impeached and thrown in the slammer for 14 years after his conviction on corruption charges.

Isn't it interesting how different states deal with the same problems?

This type of "statecraft" is my primary objection to the Repeal the 17th Movement.

How many consecutive governors of Illinois have been convicted of felonies?

They aren't consecutive...couple of "stiffs" in the bunch, but on this run...4 of the last 7 Illinois governors have remained in government housing after leaving office.

The Sunday Shows are Democrats.

So yes, of course they will “pile on” the Republicans. That’s what Criminal Enterprise otherwise know as Democrats, otherwise known as the Liberal Media otherwise known as the Sunday Shows do.

LOLOL

It’s common knowledge that the Liberal Media are Dem Operatives who pose as unbiased journalists. Everyone knows that the Sunday Shows are just LIBERALS.

We know this. LOL Same with Wash Post and NYT.

They have an agenda. They do not hide their agenda. Their agenda is anti Trump. FACT. Everyone sees through their Liberal agenda on the Sunday shows.

My opinion is that if McCain goes back to work with a cancerous brain tumor ... ghoulish

The left loves the macabre. They'd probably eat it up, while *normal* people would be further shocked by McCain exposing his suffering.

Anyone with a heart will not rejoice in his suffering, although many are looking forward to his replacement. I think him going back to work would accelerate his demise and the appointment of that replacement.

will the repubs do the same with him that the RATs did with Byrd ?

Personally I doubt it, but I would bet the bank that they will do that for the traitor Thad from Mississippi.
