Obama's National Security Adviser Susan Rice met Friday behind closed doors with the Senate Intelligence Committee to discuss its probe of Russian meddling in US elections. Rice is one of three former Obama officials to meet with the committee this week, CNN reports. The committee has also met with:
<><> Obama chief of staff, Denis McDonough, and,
<><> Obama's former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper.
Rice had previously been expected to publicly testify before the House Intelligence Committee on the unmasking, but that testimony has been postponed (after Rice apparently got cold feet and took a hike).
A Rice spox attempted to gloss over Rice's illegal unmasking activities: "Amb Rice met voluntarily as part of the committee's bipartisan investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election," said Erin Pelton. "....Russia's efforts violated one of the core foundations of American democracy."
Rice has come under scrutiny after a Bloomberg report revealed that she had sought to "unmask" the identities of candidate Trump's campaign associates whose conversations were incidentally collected in raw intelligence reports.
Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC), chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, in an interview with CNN, said "... clearly there were individuals unmasked. Some of that became public which it's not supposed to, and our business is to understand that, and explain it."

Have heard many report that Russia interfered with our election but have never heard exactly what they did. If it was via propaganda to favor Trump, imho, the American media did the same to favor Clinton. So...??
