The low information Republican primary voters probably won’t like Kelli’s statement, but I agree with her 100%.
I agree. She is being honest and realistic. I would vote for her if I could. She impressed me during the primary.
If appointed, she would not face reelection for 5 years. The low info voters will never remember what she said today.
If appointed after the 2018 general election, the individual appointed to that seat would have to run in 2020. The victor in 2020 would run again in 2022 when the six year term expires.
John McCain should not be in the US Senate and I have no problem with her putting her name forward.

Maybe so, but everything she said is true. McCain should have retired years ago. I would love to see her in the Senate, though I am pretty sure the GOPe will lobby for her to be replaced by another GOPe, just as they have done everywhere else.
