when someone dies, why can’t the entity that creates the death certificate send a copy to the place of residence’s city hall to remove from voting lists?

Why did I know this was about Broward County?

Oh, wait, I know— because Broward is run by New York/ New Jersey leftist transplants, that’s why.

Dade should be next: I was told back in early 90’s by a firsthand actor in it that it’s routine election day procedure to run buses to the polls in Little Haiti for D votes in exchange for cigarettes and rum.

Our city is celebrating it’s 100 year anniversary.

At a party in March there were 5 folks over 100 that showed up. All but 1 was in amazing good health. Additionally, there were several more in the high 90’s.

The population is about 55 K or say 10 per 100,000.

That didn't take long Just searched "Broward County" and found numerous threads. Anyone interested just skip past the first five items and there are the threads about ballot stuffing.

Ballot box stuffing in Broward County - FR threads

Some of those threads would be worth linking sometime when people are discussing voter fraud and Trump's commission on the subject. This thread might be about dead.

First of all Broward county is where the first organized Tea Party started.....some solid folks here...but few.
But Broward county also the most vile and disgusting people per sq inch than the rest of the country combined! I know the woman behind the lawsuit...even the ALCU is involved.

Bad enough but can well imagine the Centenarians are probably still registered voters in their Northeast previous Home of Record.

‘USED TO BE’ a joke from the Borscht Belt Comedians, about the New Yorkers retiring in Florida and voting in both jurisdictions.

May not have been all that much of a joke.

But it’s hard, or impossible, for the elderly to get a picture ID!

It's not so hard if they need a picture ID. Here is a picture of my great-aunt, who no doubt is still voting in Broward...

I have a winter place here, and I am down here to do some work on it. Even the iguanas vote in Broward, and they are an invasive species!

Isn’t Broward County precincts always some of the last precincts to report?

Need to see how much fraud they need, I suppose.

What is the problem?

So they are dead.

That is why they vote absentee.

Maybe some old stoner Univ professor can score a Federal grant to rig up research on the correlation between Liberalism and longevity :)

I can’t wait!

Vote Democrat!

You’ll live longer!

No.
I am a legal resident of Florida. I spend 6 months there and vote there. I get my mail forwarded the other 6 months. I don’t vote in the other location. I vote in Florida.

Not in Broward County though.

Not saying it doesn’t need to be fixed, but that’s not a valid approach.

Lots of Civil War veterans...

They are starting to get close to 200.

The minimum age of a US WWII veteran should be somewhere around 89 assuming 17 year olds getting waivers to elist in 1945.

*************

Maybe not but Texas has done this for years. If you move and don’t change your voting address
then your voter registration card is returned to the registrar and you’re removed from the rolls.
It forces you to keep your current address up to date so that you vote in the proper precinct, etc.
