Good for Tebow. I enjoyed his time with the Broncos and hope he continues to do well.
Too bad for Tim Tebow that Bill Vleck is no longer alive and no longer owns an MLB team.
I thought he should have been allowed to still play football, but politics got in the way. The Jets should have used him more. Oh well. Baseball is better for Tebow anyway.
I’m waiting for Tim to help lead this team to some level of championship, so that he feels free to step away and enter politics. I’m pretty sure that’s one of his long term goals.

We’ll see.
One thing I’ve noticed over the years is when a talented ballplayer busts into the bigs and does well enough to draw a lot of attention the other teams focus on him and figure out his weaknesses. At that point his success fades.
Very few can make a career out of baseball.
“Im waiting for Tim to help lead this team to some level of championship...”
The Mets?
Are you serious?
A fastball in the MLB is quite a bit more difficult to hit than a fastball in Single A ball.
The liberal Jesus hating sports talk radio hosts and reporters don’t want him to have the chance. They are like the news media when Donald Trump was about to enter the race - all negative and proven wrong by Trump at every step. Tebow is proving the sports media wrong at every step.
I am not going to search it out but there has already been a FR discussion that Tim will never be in ‘big league’ baseball.
Perhaps, but the breaking stuff is what separates the men from the boys...
Real? More like spectacular!
Baseball teams don’t make money by having people hit pitches, they make money by selling t-shirts, selling commercials for their broadcasts and putting @sses in seats. Tebow is a draw, maybe he will only be a draw for a season or two, but he is a draw now.
I’m waiting for whatever it takes to have Tim Tebow think that he’s proven his point. That he can ‘make it’ without the approval or support of the Football world.
I won’t pretend to know whether today’s Mets are a good team.
They could be great, they could be lousy.
I don’t really follow most team sports.
The few times I’m interested, I like seeing boxing, wrestling and karate, I like learning fighting techniques, even if just by watching it done.

Tebow had a chance with the Pats but they felt he would have made a better tight end than QB but he wasn’t interested in anything less than a QB’s job. His choice.

Yep, though he’s shown considerable improvement since joining single A ball. He’s learning.
