I’m right there with you. I did not think it was possible for me to get as emotional as I am about something that doesn’t affect me directly, or has to do with my country. I am absolutely wrecked over this. So absolutely disgusting. I have said this previously here, and I will say it again. If little Charlie was a Syrian refugee, or Somali immigrant, this entire thing would have went down completely different- starting with press coverage.

That's a horrible thing for a Catholic Priest, like you claim to be, to say. You should be praying for them instead of condemning them. You should have said that God will judge them.
I never said I want them to go to Hell.
I said I want them to have time to “think.”
In other words, I want them to have time to repent.
But you were just looking for an excuse to bash a Catholic.

Most good Priests would pray for repentance for those involved NOT for harm to come to them. Not a very "Christian" nor "Priestly" response on your part. I'm glad I'm not in your parish.
