A Federal judge just ruled our wonderful Sheriff Joe Arapaio guilty of criminal contempt of court--for simply enforcing existing federal immigration laws.

He is a good man who tried to protect the state of Arizona from the huge invasion of our state by illegal immigrants. He was not allowed a jury trial. This is a a set-up by the leftist thugs from the Obama administration. President Trump needs to pardon Sheriff Joe, he did not commit any crimes.

Wow, this is awful. I wouldn’t expect a pardon though.

Sheriff Joe was one of the few law enforcement officers in the country who bravely enforced existing federal immigration law, defying the lawless thugs and judges under the control of the Obama administration. He is NOT a criminal, and he should not go to jail. Tump needs to pardon him, reduce his sentence to probation or suspend his sentence (which will be given in October). Sheriff Joe is not a criminal!!!

The illegal immigrant community and racist/activist thugs in our state are cheering and high-fiving right now. They totally disgust me.

I still don’t understand how Arpaio was denied a jury trial. Is that not grounds for apoeal?

Victim of the swamp.

Maybe they can combine his case with the Bunkerville trials in AZ, or they may just decide to kill him outright.

How could he be refused a trial by jury?

A pardon implies he was guilty. I think he needs to take this to the Supreme Court.

Trump doesn’t dare try to pardon him. It will tick off all the McCain voters.

If Sheriff Joe can be found guilt of contempt of court for just following the law, how many more LEOs can be?

This was a concerted conspiracy orchestrated by Obama, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, a corrupt DOJ, DHS and judiciary.

Yes, Arpaio should appeal for not getting a jury trial. But I think the best thing is for Trump to pardon him and stop this corrupt conspiracy against Sheriff Joe once and for all.

This was a misdemeanor offense, and under Arizona law can be tried by a judge.

Judge Snow whose wife said the judge “wanted to do everything to make sure Arpaio was not elected”

Juan wouldn’t lift a pinky finger for Sheriff Joe.

Hopefully God is dealing with Juan harshly right now for his crimes and lies which have harmed Arizona citizens.

I used to live in AZ. The SENATOR you are referring to hates Arapaio. I think the feeling was mutual.

Since when is contempt of court a misdemeanor? Always thought it was a felony.

And how can a misdemeanor get up to 6 months in prison?
