The slimes are ever hopeful. They think if they say it enough times, it will come true. The names listed, Kasich, Sasse and Cotton are what are to be expected, but none would have a chance if they tried. Expect to see Flakes name there too. As far as Pence, the slimes are trying to foster dissent within the Administration. The slimes are one of the most unethical organizations in the US, and that is saying a lot.
I don’t think Cotton would run against Trump. He may be hedging his bets if Trump runs into trouble.
But if they try to remove Trump, there will be about 20 million people in the street. And they will only want to know, from Cotton or anyone else, which side are you on.

During the campaign he referred to his second term.
Trump has fought off a coup and keeps going. I have very little doubt about the President. I’m doubting the integrity of the federal government.
We out here in fly-over country understand this is the last chance we will have to save the nation from Obama style “Fundamental Transformation”.
But it doesn’t seem that the GOPe sees that.
Or they just don’t care as long as the lobbyist money keeps flowing their way for a while longer.
We see many republicans working hand in glove with democrats and the media to sink the Trump administration thinking they, or one of their pals, can replace President Trump in 2020.
The truth is, if republicans do somehow damage President Trump enough to cause him to lose the primary in 2020 they will also be destroying the republican party and guaranteeing another democrat in the White House.
And probably democrat majorities in the senate and house as well.
Another democrat regime in 4 years may not rule forever but it would be long enough to prevent any chance of restoring the Republic.

Drudge is pushing a meme that Pence is setting up his own POTUS Campaign, hiring hotshot operatives, etc. All I can say is, Pence does NOT have the chops to be POTUS while the Swamp is still untamed. EVEN IF he could win, the Swamp would completely roll Pence in 6 months or less. However, being a lifelong politician, he’d probably willingly revert to type, and join the RINOs before election day.
