You have to die in the act to win the Darwin Award (taking your genes out of circulation in a stupid way).
Perhaps there could be another award for stupidest moron criminals..... the Hillary Award???/
The Debbie Wasserman-Schultz Award????

Looks like a NBL player. No doubt an NBL player could have a million dollar note on him!

After months of plotting this brilliant crime he had the misfortune to have ended up with a sharp eyed teller who foiled his heist... Rats!

“The B.tch squealed!!” :)
Also, The deposit was also suspicious because the United States Treasury has never printed such a bill...

Let us not be hasty until we prove it was not a genuine $1M bill in his possession.

I told him to stick it into the change machine first and then deposit the 4 million quarters so it would not be as suspicious... dummy.

Sheesh, no wonder it wasn't accepted -- he forgot to submit the Certificate of Authenticity with the bill. That's a school of hard knocks lesson he isn't likely to forget anytime soon. I guess that sort of mistake could happen to any of us.

An “unusually large bill”. Sounds like he had a bill that was bigger than normal. Or was the dumb reporter trying to say it was of a large denomination?

An unusually large bill. Sounds like he had a bill that was bigger than normal.Reminds me of a favorite cartoon:
Two convicts in a cell with a framed bill on the wall. Says pointing convict.
"First dollar I ever made. Quarter inch too long"

“...teller alerted police over the transaction because Strickland never had more than $500 in his account at a time...”
I’m not sure which is more shocking.
The fact that this guy once had $500 in his account.
Or the fact that this teller has a job.
Also... terrible reporting. I want to know how much he paid for the bill.
I’m guessing it was $500.
Poor unfortunate guy. His bond is $1000. And his cell mate is 10 bucks short of making change for a million.
