George was one of a kind. He could be radically liberal - I sat cross-armed with my Reagan brethren when he went on a 20-min anti-administration rant when I saw him in college - but when he was on, he was ON.

This one is classic:

I hope he gave up his atheism right as he was suffering a heart attack and repented.
