History proves you cannot appease Marxist/fascist/socialist/globalist totalitarians. They will never be satisfied and will never stop. Trump is absolutely correct. If you allow them to tear down these historical Civil War monuments, then they’ll be coming after Washington and Jefferson next.
In fact, they’ll be coming after the American flag, our national anthem, our Judeo-Christian heritage, the Bible, and anything to do with the founding of this great nation while leaving the institution of slavery intact. And that includes the constitution itself. It did not ban slavery and must therefore be destroyed.
And they will continue destroying monuments, burning books, rewriting history, and fomenting hatred against America and especially against white Christian Americans.
It’s already started on all fronts mentioned in this post. And the weak-kneed “useful idiot” appeasers in the GOPe will go along with it until it’s too late. The left is turning our society upside down and inside out as we speak with godless anti-Christian Marxism, fascism, socialism, globalism, multiculturalism, homosexualism, abortionism, racism against whitey, etc, etc, and the GOP doesn’t give a damn.
They’ve acquiesced and surrendered to the godless Marxist/fascist/globalist/multiculuralist takeover of America and are satisfied that the left will be satisfied with their appeasement, will stop their quest for power and we will have peace in our time.
I was about to ask where is our Churchill? Can't really compare Trump to Churchill, but he is pretty much standing alone in the breach.
Oh, and, obviously, it’s not really about slavery or the poor or the homosexuals or human rights or climate change or multiculturalism or any other cause or excuse. It’s the ages old cause of totalitarian world conquest and domination. Marx/Lenin/Stalin/Hitler, et al, did not dream this world conquest/domination stuff up themselves. It’s a recurring theme all the way back to the beginning of civilization.

Jim, you hit the nail on the head. In the public arena, President Trump is standing alone. He is the lone voice of reason and sanity. The GOP Congesscritters are led by, and count in their ranks dozens of appeasers and cowards, if not outright traitors (like we see on the other side of the aisle). These are dark times.

Are we who are lovers of America and freedom weaker than the rag tag colonist patriots who were in the minority in the colonies?
I don’t think so and here’s why. The patriots of our beginnings believed that the Divine Providence of Almighty God was with them. Like them, we also must know and believe that the Divine Providence of Almighty God is with us. “If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Rom 8:31). We and God are a majority and we cannot lose.
Would it be a miracle if we pulled this thing out and restored our Free Constitutional Republic?
Yes, but so was the birth of America. But for God, America never would have existed. God birthed America as a light to the world because God loves this world who his Son died for. He isn’t finished with America or the world yet. Trump’s miraculous victory is evidence of that.
Our best days are still out in front of us and Satan, the powers of darkness, and the spirit of antichrist are working overtime to stop our rise. But their time is not yet and they will fail.
America will once more be a shining light of spiritual, political, and personal hope to the world. We MUST do our part in this fight but we must have FAITH that God is with us and we will win. Remember, facts and circumstance are changeable in a twinkling of an eye. We’ve seen that in the last year. And faith is what changes facts and circumstances

I sent my very first email to President Trump yesterday (via the WhiteHouse.gov contact page) and let him know that his supporters aren’t going anywhere, and that we are behind him even more than when we elected him.
I urge everyone to do the same. Let the President know that he does NOT stand alone.
