Phoenix on high alert for Trump rally
The Hill ^ | August 22,2017 | Jonathan Easley -

Political leaders and law enforcement officials in Arizona are on high alert ahead of President Trump’s campaign rally Tuesday night in Phoenix.

The big question is whether there will be more supporters of Trump inside the Phoenix Convention Center, which holds 29,000, or protestors outside.

Trump’s response to the violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., has become the biggest controversy to date of his presidency.

The Phoenix rally, as a result, has become an opportunity for Trump’s opponents to show their force.

Some GOP leaders, such as Gov. Doug Ducey, are steering clear of the rally entirely.

Trump is moving ahead with the event despite a plea from Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, a Democrat, that he stay away.

Stanton said in a statement that he is “disappointed” that Trump would hold a campaign rally while the nation “is still healing from the tragic events in Charlottesville.”

Phoenix Police Chief Jeri Williams said in a statement that her force will have “maximum staffing during the visit.”

The department is “working 24/7 with our partners to ensure all of our resources are in place,” Williams said.

Stanton said the city is committed to keeping everyone inside and outside the arena safe.

“The Phoenix police is always professional and the FBI and Department of Homeland Security have been great about coordinating with local law enforcement,” former Arizona GOP chairman Robert Graham told The Hill.

Charlottesville isn’t the only reason to think the Phoenix rally could be combustible.

The president has mused publicly about pardoning controversial former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, an early Trump supporter who was found guilty of racially profiling Latinos. Arpaio, who was prosecuted and convicted of racial profiling by former President Obama’s Justice Department, is a well-known and controversial figure in Phoenix.

People carry guns in Arizona.

Many pro-Trump people, who do not go into the gun-free zone that is the convention center but shoose insteand to remain outside, will not think kindly to being assaulted with clubs and bats by thuggish lefties.

I expect armed self-defense tonight.

“Democrats are warning that a public pardon (of Arpaio) at a campaign rally would stoke racial tensions at a time when the nation is on edge.”

Stanton said it would “enflame emotions and further divide our nation,” while Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) said Arpaio “shouldn’t be let off the hook for his crimes” just so Trump can win “some bonus points with his most racist supporters.”

Suck it dems. That’s going to be a yuuuuge moment when he pardons Arpaio and brings him up on stage to congratulate him for his decades of service. Can’t wait to see it!

Should be a fabulous night all around. Stay safe out there and don’t forget you need to carry your CCW license with you!

This speech is very important. I am not happy with who is left in Trumps inner circle. McMaster, Cohen, Powell, Ivanka, Jared. All Libs. Kelly is questionable. Not one conservative. If he is going to start eroding the agenda it will begin with this speech. Watch especially for any reference to the wall, I think that will be the tell.

Well, one has to ask, exactly WHY are law enforcement officials on high alert? Is it because a bunch of Republicans will show up and start throwing rocks and bottles at the police? No, that would be the antifa leftist thugs. Because our President will oppress someone and deny their Constitutional rights? No, of course not.

They are high alert because they know full well that it will be the angry, hateful commies who descend on Phoenix and attempt to intimidate and silence anyone who dares to tell the truth about them.

He wasn't found guilty by a jury he was deemed guilty by a Judge.

“Trump’s response to the violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., has become the biggest controversy to date of his presidency.”

He condemned the violence and the perps. All of them. What’s the problem? SOS. A white person must bend over backwards to denounce white supreamacy above every sin by man. Blacks must be deferred to on matters of race. Why? Because leftists are afraid of blacks. Why is that? Because blacks riot when they don’t get their way, and to put them down is “racist”. At some point, someone is going to cry racism and the response will be “Yeah? So what?”

The Charlottesville city council was verbally attacked yesterday by hordes of Charlottesville citizens, demanding the resignations of the city council members, for failing to protect the citizens of Charlottesville from the riot that occurred last week, ending in a murder of a protester and many injuries.

Fact is; the Democrat Governor, Terry McAullife and his Democrat cronies in Charlottesville provoked and abetted this riot/murder by failing to have police perform their sworn duties to protect both citizens and property from harm by right and left wing lunatic protesters.

Fact is: POTUS, Donald J. Trump was 100% correct in his assessment and words that the two protesting groups were permitted to make contact with each other, therefore provoking a major uncontrolled, lack of police presence,
full blown riot.

The Democrat controlled and biased, hateful of Donald Trump, media has tried to smear POTUS Trump with it’s scorn, lies and hate....but the chickens are coming home to roost as the real truth surfaces as to who fostered and nurtured this riot/murder.

I urge every American in the Phoenix, Arizona area to attend “The Trump Rally” this evening at the Phoenix Convention Center to not only support & defend our POTUS....but.....to show massive presence, cheers and love of our great POTUS, Donald J. Trump....MAGA. Do it...FOLKS.

People carry guns in Arizona.

Yes they do. Both sides apparently.

Phoenix Antifa "John Brown Gun Club" in front of the Arizona Capitol, March 25th, 2017, as part of a counter-demonstration against a pro-Trump march occurring in the same area.

Maybe.

Truth is, nobody really knows how they'll act under fire until they find themselves under fire.

Anyhow, I suspect the'll be out in Arizona again tonight. And the right will have armed elements as well. One of these days, someone is going to get froggy and pull a trigger.

Could be for an interesting evening!
