And the primadonas salaries with it. But of course that would be racist.

I would like to thank all the entitled unindicted co-conspirators in the NFL for freeing up my Sunday afternoons this fall.
Let them celebrate their criminal buddies on someone elses time.

If I were an owner, none of these guys would play for me.

Yes! I don't think political protests of any kind belong in any workplace. Employees should protest on their own time and not at a place of business.

I don't understand why owners and the NFL allow this to go on. Employers have a right to set rules for how employees dress and how they behave. Consumers want to enjoy products/services/performances/sports without politics being inserted - or they'll no longer consume the offerings.

They were kneeling in prayer, not protest, during which spoken prayer America was described as the greatest country on earth. But since that doesn’t fit the media’s selected story line it’s been hardly mentioned.

Great inspiration for the young watching football.

It’s time for a national day of abstinence scheduled for the first Sunday of the regular NFL season during which everyone in the country that despises the spitting on the National Anthem by these millionaires who have everything a kid could dream just turns off their televisions for the day.

And if that doesn’t wake them up do the same on the following Monday night, and every Sunday and Monday thereafter.

They want to politicize football; let’s politicize football. The NFL will either get the message, or fold. Enough already.

As for the NFL, try burning a flag outside your place of employment and see how long you keep your job. They can fix it; they just don’t have the guts to do it.

Does this count? I don’t regard the Browns as an NFL team anymore.

Replace them with a better team-University of Alabama!

Could that be because it looked like sympathetic protest, as was no doubt intended.

But, hey, they prayed so all is forgiven.

People want to spit on the flag, that’s their right, but we don’t have to finance their livelihoods by watching or attending their games.

If they want to pray at any other time, that is great.

But when the National Anthem is played the should stand and show respect for their country.

The purpose of these protests is to denigrate America and all patriotic Americans. It is to show their hatred and contempt for the United States. That is all it is.

They could go 0-fer this year.

Sorry but the Jets had dibs on that first. Maybe next year.

The NFL sitting for the anthem is last year's news.

Nobody cares anymore.

If you don’t like our nation, leave.

Exactly right. You have the right to disagree and stay but not disagree and be violent and tear what we have built apart. Leave if you think things are better elsewhere.

Right. Going along with someone spitting on the country’s anthem makes America great.

Tell me this. What are they protesting? Getting all these cops killed by random acts of violence lately? What?

You think you have the freedom to screw with your employer’s business? Try it sometime and you’ll see how free you are.

If you admire people who refuse to stand for the National Anthem, that is your right.

If you admire people who spit on the American flag, desecrate and vandalize Veteran’s Cemeteries and burn the American flag that is also your right.

But I love this country. Football is a fun diversion. Patriotism and love of country is more important.
