It is sobering to think that what this author complains of, did not get Arpaio in trouble. What got Arpaio in trouble, was defying a judges order to not stop people on suspicion of being in the country illegally and turning them over to Immigration.

my question for the person who was arrested for drunk driving. was there more to the arrest. was there an accident. was some one hurt. drunk driving is serious if there is an accident and some one is hurt or killed. I am sure that there is more to the reason he was stuck in his tent city then just drunk driving.
IIRC, he was ordered to stop racial profiling. If true, just exactly what does that mean? Whatever it is, by what legitimate power does a judge have to order it be stopped?

WOW! He looks like a DWI type person. If I was a cop I would profile him with a DWI stop.
His issue is with the county. That’s where it took long to prosecute him.
Why do I get the feeling there’s a whole lot more to this story? Sounds to me like there was some serious stuff involved and I’m gonna guess this wasn’t his first go-round in Maricopa County.
