That’s an awful article:
>He is utterly incorruptible. He cannot be intimidated. At this stage in his career, he has nothing to prove, no reputation to burnish, no axe to grind. He is ramrod straight in his integrity. The description is one from which few who have worked with Mueller will dissent.
Every line there is a lie.
Oh brother...that BS doesn’t work
Btw, show me the appointment letter by Reno of John Danforth. You clearly have read it since you are claiming you know what it said.
Say hi to your moonbat pal for me. I honestly couldn’t get past the second sentence of that article you linked. The one I ended up reading was by Newt’s wife. As different as day is to night.
btw, John Danforth was a REPUBLICAN appointed to investigate a DEM administration about a specific event.
>Well sheesh.if the fallout isnt going to be huge then trump can fire mueller today. He has that power. Why hasnt he fired mueller instead of blasting sessions about a recusal
Because he can’t. He’s had to fire Sessions, then fire Rosenstine, or whatever traitors name is, and finally get the inspector general to fire Mueller. At which point Trump doesn’t have anyone loyal to him in the DOJ because congress won’t approve his nominees and they’ll just re-appoint Mueller.
The Solution to the problem is for congress to go into recesses so that Trump and clean house with recesses appointments but the GOP congress wants Trump impeached so they’re refusing to leave for recess.
Tell me what Janet Reno’s appointment letter says
>btw, John Danforth was a REPUBLICAN appointed to investigate a DEM administration about a specific event.
You’re a leftist. No conservative trusts republicans who that democrats hire. They always turn out to be fake republicans.
Well, I didn’t post it for that. I posted it to address the actual law to show how many have been appointed.
btw, one of Trump’s attorney’s praised Mueller. the one that represented Mccain.
In fact, a lot of people praised Mueller from the GOP side..I think several of Trumps lawyers praised him..
Not saying Mueller was a good pick. Just saying what people said. Mueller has been cozy with a lot of people..including Comey and new FBI director Wray.
Reno picked Danforth...who was a republican and had been an AG in a state.
I don’t know how conservative Danforth was..I am just saying he was a Republican.
The man who wrote the law said that Trump has the authority to fire Mueller.
>In fact, a lot of people praised Mueller from the GOP side
Against you’re equating GOP with conservative. Which I generally only hear from liberals. Every conservative knows that most of the corrupt GOP hate the conservative base and never equates the two.
>The man who wrote the law said that Trump has the authority to fire Mueller.
Correct he can fire Mueller but only if he fires the people above in the DOJ first. But he can’t do that because the person 3ed in command which he can’t fire due to civil service law will just reappoint Mueller.
Trump’s trapped thanks to that good for nothing Jeff Sessions.
I knew I would get that response..I am busy and cant flesh everything out..
So leave it that Ty Cobb praised him.
I know I have seen others on trumps team praise him..cant remember who...
AGAIN, not saying he was a good pick. I just know he got a lot of high praise from a lot of people..including a key Trump lawyer
I completely agree. If Mueller had a shed of integrity if would have refused the appointment due to his close relationship to the criminal leaker and Clinton crony Comey.
Legally he can fire Mueller on his own or he can direct Rosenstein to fire him who can refuse. Straight from the guy who wrote the law.
Maybe you are talking about the practicality of doing it..I am talking about legal authority.
Let me back track that a bit until I find the article that I read..In the meantime..there is this one
“Trump could order the special-counsel regulations repealed and then fire Mueller himself.”
So at least as per that article,,there would need to be an additional step..so I will go with that for the moment.
I think Trump can fire anyone in the executive branch of government. Except enlistees in the Armed Forces. Enlisted men/women and junior officers can not be fired.
>Legally he can fire Mueller on his own or he can direct Rosenstein to fire him who can refuse. Straight from the guy who wrote the law.
>Maybe you are talking about the practicality of doing it..I am talking about legal authority.
The practically requires him to follow the chain of command.
No matter what the particular law says does POTUS have a constitutional right to fire any federal prosecutor.
So I will leave that to Con law expert.
