That characterization of the president doesn’t fit a man who has managed too many companies to count and built a multi-billion dollar empire in the process.
You don’t have success like that by stomping on the help.

I worked with him several times over the years - he was an adjoining battalion commander while I had an artillery battalion. He is a solid officer and a great family man.
How do I know you're not?

General Kelly is 'fed-up with hot-headed boss' tantrums and says he has never been spoken to so badly in entire career'.
A military man has never been spoken to sternly by his commanding officer before? Baloney - I suspect that like most other Washington establishment types, Kelly's issue isn't so much with how he's being spoken to as who's speaking it to him. The establishment still hasn't come to grips with the fact that Trump is now president of the United States and they still expect him to defer to them.

People take hard positions without data. The media is spinning, its a good time to sit back and let POTUS and his cabinet keep us informed.
I think President Trump is looking well & hitting his stride. Having General Kelly as COS apparently is an asset. That may be why we are hearing these unsubstantiated targeted rumors.

You seem overly defensive. Read more carefully. I was referring to your comment below, when I asked ya, "How do ya know he isn't"?
President Trump could never find a better man and he should deal with him with respect.

Not what the President tweeted today. Tweet said Gen. Kelly was doing a great job.

That’s enough to get a book out of along with a commentators gig on Fox.

Generals don’t put up with much crap. That said I would think Kelly is getting along fine or he wouldn’t have taken the job. He was already in the cabinet and new the man he was working for.

Sorry - I've been surprised and angry that people have said some really cruddy things about John Kelly, so my response was a bit hair-trigger.
I genuinely like President Trump and will support him no matter what - but I know John Kelly fairly well and he is a fine, talented, and accomplished American.

Agreed. I’m just really dismayed to see some of the things people have written on this thread.

Don't worry about it. Btw, some people here have mocked Trump relentlessly too. However there used to be a whole lot more of the anti-Trump stooges, but most headed for the tall grass.☺
Take care.

Well, if Kelly thought that he could ‘change the world’ and ‘make a difference’, as everyone from the Snowflake Generation seems to want to do, he PICKED THE WRONG JOB. He still answers to Trump, whether he likes it or not.

Made it up through the ranks under Obama. What else do we need to know? Not an Iwo Jima or Tarawa general.
To: Col Frank Slade
Yes, exactly, “According to the New York Times” written right near the beginning and yet some FR viewers fell right in line for it.

If this is true, then it sounds like General Kelly needs to man up and grow a pair. If you cant take getting yelled at by the boss, how exactly did you get to that rank in the Marine Corps”
Sucking up to Obama. Went along with the green energy, homosexual, trans gender shit.

Let me get this straight, a former Marine General is whining about getting dressed down. Ridiculous.

Securing the border is NOT law enforcement. It's protecting the nation from invasion.
Bring V Corp home, give the Commanding General the mission to close and defend our border instead of that of the ungrateful Euroweinies.
