I remember it well. Great place - but not one mere mortals can afford to live in. :)

“... let these beautiful creatures be ...”

How do you feel about coyotes?
What about rats?

Target of online outrage?

Imagine our surprise.

I’m trying to grow a clover lawn.

The bunnies think it’s a wondrous buffet.

Haven’t gotten tired of seeing them in the yard with the dozens of quail.

Yet.

Coyotes eat outside cats.

Hmmmm.

Maybe could use a few more coyotes around here.

So, exactly what law was broken? Where does the city police have jurisdiction for fish and wild life offenses? At most he is guilty of poaching a deer out of season and or taking a doe and fawn without a deer tag. This is a fine and not a felony. What law was he sited for? He did not discharge a firearm within a city limit. Most counties do not regulate air rifle discharges. Again, this is a mater for Department of Fish and Game. What nonsense.

They will literally just pop out from the woods onto the highways like they don’t have a care in the world. And if you hit one of them, they will attack you when they are injured.

I’d kill both without a second thought, but deer are beautiful creatures that I would not kill unless I needed the meat.

Ditto that. We lose some of the veggies on our garden plot to deer, pronghorns, and the occasional elk. It’s part of living here.

We have a smaller garden for the much more munchable things and it’s surrounded by an eight foot tall fence because it’d be stupid not to fence it.

This guy in Marin might want to think about a fence after he gets out of prison.

Long sleeve clothing is popular in Canada because we do not have a right to 'bear arms.' 😜

It is a no lead hunting zone so they better fine him for using a lead projectile as well!

When there are too many deer in one area, they eat themselves out of their own food supply. Then they become malnourished. Then they get sick. Then they bring that into your yard.

It is far better for those critters if they are held to numbers that allows then to live a healthy life.

In Georgia, we can dispatch them with a crossbow. It is better for the herd and better for our property, which cost us real money.

“I hope those two deer suffered horribly before dying in tears.”

Is that sentiment included in your Hunting philosophy as well? How bout Road Hits? Enjoy maximizing the suffering? I always thought true Hunters went for clean, instant kills, didn’t realize we are supposed to maximize suffering and enjoy the results. Shows how ignorant I am. Bring it on Boyz, start the counter attack.......

Shoots them and leaves them in the street to die? He’s an idiot. He’s lucky a motorcyclist didn’t come along and die after hitting one and losing control.

It’s California. If the police there want to arrest you and put you in prison even though there’s no law against what you did (if you did it all) then they’ll just make something up.

Happens all the time in that banana republic.

Most communities I’ve lived in prohibit pellet and bb gun use.
