All I know is that the only way 62 miles of border wall will cost $1 billion is if it is being built by New York City lawyers out of Porsches and Ferraris stacked on top of each other.

Is sequester gone for the military? Does this budget start building the Navy back to 355 ships as Trump pledged? This bill will be changed by the Senate and then there will be a conference committee from both houses to craft the final version. Then we will see what goes to Trump’s desk.

Well if he was for DACA, he didn’t have to do anything with it at all. Even if the courts eventually struck it down, it was still Obama’s mess, not his.

There is a significant difference between 62 miles of border wall for $1 billion and 2000 miles of border wall for $1 billion. And the way the article is written at least, it looks like the $1 billion is just for construction of the physical wall itself, not including any additional security measures, etc.
Pfft, no. He’s caving left and right.
One day he was sending out tweets like fire, defending America, and Americans. The next day he stops tweeting, and he starts working with democrats.
I have many concerns associated with the wall and our border security. If it saves 10 people from getting murdered, 10 women from being raped, 10 children from being sexually assulted, 10 homes for being burgled, 10 illegal children from being tossed onto the taxpayer’s backs, 10 neighborhoods from having to deal with more gang members and the other problems associated with illegal immigrants, it will have been worth it. And that’s just one year. The next, it still pays off.
With the wall we should be able to cut back on our border patrol. We should realize considerable savings there as well.
The point is, the wall will pay for itself in a number of ways.
It baffles me the number of people who don’t think an expenditure of this sort which would be 0.00119% of our budget over five years, or 0.00056% over ten years would be worth it.
Ending 1-2.5 million illegal aliens from entering our nation and staying each year is a better idea? Really?
That is only enough money to fund further study.
$658.1 billion for the Defense Dept? Sounds like a little spare change out of that account could build us a beautiful wall from coast to coast.

Also, the House passed this same bill back in July, it appears. And we celebrated then too.
I'm interested in results. Now we get to see what all that 38DD chess is good for.
