I guess I can cross San Antonio/Alamo off my bucket list of places to visit.

Sad.

Nah, go ahead and visit it. This horribly stupid project is likely to die.

The National Park Service has several other San Antonio missions and the correct name San Antonio de Valero mission would identify in similar terminology.

The only reason the Alamo is not part of the NPS is because the old women insisted on keeping it. They let it run down as they died off and had to let it go.

Two generations of Bushes destroying the country is enough. This guy needs to go. Is his tern up in 2018?

Let’s just airbrush this ‘Remember the Alamo’ business
right out of history along with the Confederate hero
statues. Here in California we can eliminate all statues
related to the Gold Rush which tortured the environment.
Next, we visit Hawaii to dismantle the USS Arizona
monument.

By the time we’re done we will have made three ethnic
groups and one big environmental group feel oh so
much better about the good old evil US of A.

These are from April 2017, not sure if it's the same thing:

I wonder if their problem is with the idea we should Build That Wall!
Maybe they don't know how?
So I know where they can get advice on that, here's the address: 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Wash. DC.

;-)

You are mistaken. The Alamo has been well cared for and the DRT are not dead. It was not in ill repair.

An acquaintance visited the San Jacinto battleground recently and the tour guided ended the tour by saying something like let’s honor the Texans who died and the Mexican army as well. That is where they want to go. Equivocate.

Think about the US peons throwing off the yoke of England for the chance to self-govern. Texan settlers did the same to throw off the Mexican rule and self-govern. This attitude of pride and determination is what makes Texas different and perhaps what so many don’t understand and some do not like.

Here’s to hoping GPB is retired to private sector the next election. He only got elected because of his cuteness and name. Both of those are not aging well.

P grew up in Florida. His grandparents came from Connecticut and Mexico. What the hell does P know about the Alamo??? They want to water down the patriots’ sacrifice who died there rather than submit to Mexican rule. Very un-PC. That’s why they want to change the historical significance of the battle of the Alamo.

See it a little differently... that among the downtown landscape and party atmosphere on the riverwalk... we have the stark contrast of the remains of the old mission. It reminds us of our history and tells us not to forget it

If we want to be free. If we want to continue this comfortable life... there will always come a day when we (or our future generations) will have to fight for it.

Trick Question. What flag flew over the Alamo at the time of the battle?

George P. Bush, of the Make America Mexico Again Bush family, continues the cultural cleansing of America that recently began with the Nikki Haley victory over South Carolina’s battle flag display.

America will be perfected when old stock Americans are re-educated about their sinful past. And when the land is cleansed by replacing the American people with immigrants and refugees from the 3rd world, as has been done in California.

Enjoy. All hail the brave new world.

There seems to be no certainty. But maybe one of these two?
