If Trump is not getting rolled is it your conclusion he supports this anti-Israel faction in the State Department? There are many in the US government, including McMaster and Tillerson, who are pushing their own agenda (or that of corporatist America) and calculating that Trump won’t risk more turnover in senior appointees. I think Trump has concluded that he can’t win all the battles and is picking his fights.

Tillerson will always be an Exxon-Mobil lackey and will always favor his former clients in Arab countries, even if it means supporting their terrorist organizations. He has a built in bias and was a puzzling choice for that position.
This is a toxic combination - an oil executive who has favored terrorist client states for years; and a State Dept that has been completely infected with Marxists and terrorists for the past decade.

Time for Trump to use that “you’re fired” line and have Tillerson escorted from the building. I’ve always admired John Bolton, and if Trump could get assurances from him that he wouldn’t advocate ground wars in every third world and fourth world country imaginable I think Bolton might just be the guy to do some swamp draining. It’s clear Tillerson is not inclined to do so.
