As attorney general of Alabama Luther Strange canned the criminal investigation of Gov. Robert Bentely in exchange for the senate. He’s crooked.

What did Strange DO-—not what did he say or think (now yer soundin’ very lib)-—contrary to Trump? Nothing.
He voted the way Trump wanted him to vote. Now, take it up with Trump.
Luther Strange is not a disaster - he’s not some Juan McCain wannabe just dying for the chance to betray conservatives and his country. He’s a solid if unexciting Christian conservative.
I much prefer Judge Moore, but Luther would be OK. Suspect he had to pledge undying fealty to the President to get his endorsement. Sorta can’t really lose, here - unless the rat wins (unthinkable in Alabama).
And Judge Moore is still in the lead by a solid margin. The attacks are unlikely to budge any Moore supporters and are turning undecideds off of Strange. So it still looks good - as long as Judge Moore’s supporters get out and vote.
It does fit with Trump backing out of his DACA pledge.

I think supporting or opposing McConnell makes a big difference.
All you need to know about the REAL (friendly) relationship between McConnell and Trump, despite what Trump wants you to think. Why would he be going all out for someone he has zero history or connection to? Someone who’s an establishment puppet that McConnell & the GOP is going ALL out for? Name an issue Strange is the conservative on that Moore isn’t — and where you know Strange isn’t just lying out his ass about.

This pile-on by McConnell and the Senate Leadership fund has made this a race against McConnell. Strange is establishment, used to be a lobbyist, will side with McConnell every time if he gets six years to play with.
We don’t need another GOP puppet, we need people who will support the President and our agenda.
