That’s a Flamenco dancer’s costume-it is from Spain-the Mexican fashion industry would probably be by a model with bleached blonde hair wearing a brightly colored lowcut, tight dress with the hem 4-6 inches above the knee, and f*** me pumps on her feet-she would be shown walking on a hiking trail or a beach-or anyplace else where her attire was too formal and totally inappropriate.
Not being mean or disparaging of Latinas-I’m a Latina-but I’ve seen women dressed like that every place I’ve even gone to in Mexico-and at events like Spurs games in SA-also see female tourists from Mexico out here at the tourist venues-clattering and stumbling over rocks in stiletto heels along the riverbank or on the deck of a natural food restaurant in a grove of trees the middle of a ranch-hilarious..

HOW ABOUT all these illegals may have LEARNED something in schools here and millions going back who understand what true capitalism and democracy is will fight for it there.
Instead of mooching off of our ancestors’ blood.

And losing the NYC fashion industry would mean what to the national economy???? A big bonus I expect; gazillions not going to support a selfish, diva-driven, business and moral ethics corrupt industry.

In general I agree with this, as it relates to the biggest (design and marketing) houses (companies).
It would be a big impact if the general run of the mill design firms folded.
Women like to shop for new clothes (and some men are really into that also). It’s a decent industry if they provide decent cutting edge items.
If they are going to game stuff like this, a pox on them.
