He makes some kinda remark(s) on culture, society, a social issue or such, and all the haters & usual suspects hit the airwaves, Facebook, Twitter et al to denounce him. Then about 36-72 hours or so into the resulting maelstrom *boom* he releases a major policy change somewhere. Then it’s a trick for them to try and overcome the momentum of the current gripe to tear loose regroup and take up the new one. Which blunts their overall momentum to be effective on any singular issue. Wash, rinse, repeat. “
