When a guy who refuses to stay in the locker room during the national anthem and is then berated for it publicly by his coach and suspiciously announces the next day that he regrets doing it, I think we see which side the Kneelers took. They just didn't have the guts to go out on the field and show people publicly.
Most ticket holders, from what I understand, are college age white males.
From what I see the football players are mostly barely literate blacks. Most who are millionaires, and made it big, compare to other blacks of their generation[s].
Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. Wait ‘til the players wake up and discover that *the customer is always right*.
Cowards would be a good word for them, that is why the Ranger Captain was out on the field. Tomlin never heard “Don’t give an order that will not be obeyed”
Just what a lefty would post. Agree with me or you are not: man, patriotic. Instead a: sympathizer, traitor, cuck.
Don't like politics with my sports but don't like dickheads from left or right telling me how I should think or feel about a situation.
Watch what you want ma’am.
They are self-destructing.
The only person to come out of this looking good is Villanueva (?), the true patriot who served in the military and defied the orders to stay in the locker room, put his hand over his heart and honored the flag and the National Anthem. I'm buying one of his jerseys for my son for Christmas.
Save your money...he’s already caved.
Thanks for proving the point. The internet is anonymous so you will continue living. Have any time in the service?
Ever had heterosexual intercourse?
Owner Jerry Jones joined his team in taking a knee. The Cowboys then stood up and linked arms for the national anthem.
That kind of messes up the whole one or two people are guilty so everyone should be penalized thing. I did not like it in 1st grade, I don’t like it now. Sorry you missed the display of people have the right to protest but we stand for America display.
no doubt about it. Just a matter of time!Im wondering if this silliness is going to spread to baseball.
I do doubt it; first because MLB is enough behind the curve to be able to get a good look at where it leads, fanbase wise. And the owners will have time to organize themselves against it. They could do something as subtle as opening up the strike zone subtly for uncooperative players, who would find themselves batting poorly or, if pitching, finding themselves squeezed and seeing their pitch counts soar.Secondly, baseball stadia tend to have a lot of empty seats as it is, not like the NFL was. They dont want minor-league sized crowds. That is a very real danger.
Third, but importantly, blacks dont dominate the MLB rosters in the same way that they do the NFL. Nor do I think that blacks dominate the fanbase, at all.
Fourth, notwithstanding the empty seats in stadia, thanks to TV the pay is good in the MLB. Not a gig to endanger lightly.
Bottom line is that the MLB owners will have motive and opportunity to put the kibosh on any such move.
IMHO, that will be clear to the players, who will refuse the bait.
Watch what you want but this kind of garbage isn’t going to stop unless these people start to lose money. Its as simple as that. If turning off the television is too much to ask you can’t really complain when the NFL (or whomever) does another even more obnoxious publicity stunt in the future.
Well said!
I've seen at least two articles in the last hour which quote Villanueva as saying he's embarrassed about that appearance, and that it was a complete accident that he wound up at the tunnel entrance during the playing of the national anthem.
Very telling, how it requires several beers to tolerate entertainment that pisses on mothers of dead soldiers.
Life has many options.
In other words, you're going to keep on watching, despite the fact these un-American players are disrepecting our country every Sunday.
Got it.
It's great, you should try it. Takes a chick though. But like the antifa pussies you emulate, just hide behind your mask. You will last longer that way.
