Why would Trump want to cover up something that has no bearing on him? He’s not a politician with skin in the political game, which is why we elected him.
If I were Trump, I wouldn’t release them. I would release a statement that due to the dishonest press, the press and Muller are just looking to blame Trump as the 2nd gunman.

What happened during the next few months was an all out media attack on White Southerners who were accused of creating the atmosphere that allowed it.
For the next few years it was gun control. It culminated in the still disastrous Gun Control Act of 1968.
The media simply used it to push whatever they wanted to with no effort at all in finding the truth.
