So imagine once they found out that Oswald, a Communist, killed JFK, they decided they had to muddy the waters, and that’s why this conspiracy nonsense started.

I can totally understand why descendants who’s families mopped up the floor financially due to his assassination don’t want this to be anything other than a single lone gunman. Their wealth came from blood money and in this day and time they will take a beating about it.
If you think differently, please give me a logical explanation of why all the evidence had to be locked up if it was as they claimed. Do you think his brain is still there as evidence? With today’s forensics it would be a huge part of the investigation don’t you think?
I remember when it happened. I was young but grew up seeing numerous documentaries and eye witnesses that were harassed and attacked by the government when they wouldn’t go along with what the government lie was. No one believed the government’s account then except for the people that had something to gain.
I was young then too, and read lots of books and watched lots of documentaries,over the years, and I’ve actually gone to Dealey Plaza. Which witnesses were intimidated? The ones (the majority) who stated the shots came from the School Book Depository? The kid who saw the barrel coming from the sixth floor window, or the ones who heard the bolt action being worked above them as they watched the motorcade from the fifth floor window? The doctors who actually worked on JFK who stated that the wounds from the autopsy were consistent with what they saw? Oh, maybe it was John Connelly. He must have been initimidated so much he had his wounds surgically altered to appear like they came from the back, instead of the front was we all know they must have, right?
The files that were still held contained national security information and personal information of people that were not under investigation. It is normal not to release that data. It's the same kind of data that is not subject to Freedom of Information requests.

You obviously have not seen the multiple witnesses who testified it was not Oswald who shot Tippit.
We have a woman who saw the shooting, and was threatened by “officers” to stay quiet. she gives a description of a man that matches Jack Ruby’s appearance, including the hat, pudgy, and right height.
Also, the witness in the gas station who said the man was not Oswald - that man was theatened but spoke up anyway. He was later shot in the head from behind but survived. No surprise after he recovered he changed his story.....
