Daily Presidential Tracking Poll (45% Approval)

Posted on 09/30/2017 8:18:29 AM PDT by EdnaMode

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 45% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-four percent (54%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 29% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 46% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -17. (see trends).

Regular updates are posted Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily email update).

Most Americans continue to say their families regularly display the U.S. flag on holidays, and as in the previous survey, 85% of adults consider themselves, to be patriotic Americans.

Also, voters do not see chanting “USA” as an intolerant expression.

Yet respect for the flag and the national anthem remains a contentious issue. Hundreds of NFL players have knelt, sat or avoided the National Anthem since President Trump said last Friday that players who disrespect it should be fired. Thirty-four percent (34%) of Americans say they are less likely to watch an NFL game because of the growing number of protests by players on the field.

Protests erupted in St. Louis following the acquittal of a white former police officer who fatally shot a black man in 2011. But Americans believe those protests are primarily fueled by criminals taking advantage of the situation and are not an expression of legitimate outrage.

Got to think his real approval is higher than that. Also, it seems pretty unlikely that 46% strongly disapprove. What do they disapprove of? Border security? Jobs?

Saying he would continue his effort to prove President Obama was not born in the United States, Arpaio said, “Stay tuned.”

How can this be? The media have been pumping us full of stories, really since his inauguration, that this administration is in chaos and meltdown.

On the latest issues, the media have been telling us that Trump is wrong on the NFL players protests. My God, the outrage has been intense, outrage over Trump saying anything, then talking heads delve into a discussion of freedom of speech.

And recent tragic news from Puerto Rico after the hurricane, is being exploited by the media, who are framing it as Trump not having done enough, soon enough, to send aid to the island. Some idiot on MSNBC said that Puerto Rico is Trump’s Katrina. The media sure are pushing that meme that this is Trump’s Katrina. See if that meme gains traction, the way Bush was tagged with all of the blame for Katrina, at least in the liberal mind he was.

Island? Yes, an island. Lunatic liberals believe massive cargo containers full of food, water, medicine, and other supplies magically appear stacked 5 or 6 on top of each other on the decks of freighters, and the freighters magically cross the Caribbean without sailing there, and the con
magically put themselves on the docks by themselves, then load themselves on trucks.

They might be able to send a plane if there are airports still intact. But still, there’s a big difference when you don’t have land access to reach somewhere.

Well, Obama’s numbers were in many instances not terribly better or in a number of instances, worse. And this was after the Media Party propping him and Michelle up all of time.

The people who would actually vote in election are likely a different story.

Yes that’s exactly what the liberals believe. They believe that aid instantly arrives at isolated places which have suffered natural disasters.

Or at least if a Republican is in the White House, that’s what they believe.

And there is selective outrage. Heck, I remember a few years ago, Nashville suffered devastating floods. The media barely mentioned this major disaster in a major city. Obama never said anything about it. There are some stories which liberals and the media ignore, as if they didn’t really happen. Then there are other stories which the media push on us, and use for political outrage purposes.

But didn’t CNN tell us that 80% of the country thinks he’s Hitler?

“Got to think his real approval is higher than that. Also, it seems pretty unlikely that 46% strongly disapprove. What do they disapprove of? Border security? Jobs? “

In my one foray into politics, I discovered that a high percentage of people, up to 40%, will be on the other side of an issue regardless of what it will cost them. They either see the world differently from the rest of us or they have some mental issue that just makes them take the side opposite of reason. My dad, for example, was a contrary responder. If I said “it” was white he’d insist it was black. No evidence to the contrary was admissible. (This got much worse as he aged.)

A conservative looks at a line of assembly workers and sees products being built by labor freely contracted at an agreed take-it-or-leave-it wage. A Leftist sees people indentured into slavery by a money-grubbing capitalist. These two hypothetical observers aren’t making anything up. They really see the same scene differently from one another.

We run into what I call the 40/20/40 rule. On any issue 40% will see it positively, 40% will view the same issue negatively and 20% are wondering what time is lunch. All elections are a fight for 51% of the undecided’s in the middle who really don’t care. Those people vote on looks and what they heard on the news last. (This is why the eleventh hour lies by the Left work so well. They only need for certain something to appear to be true long enough to get that priceless, low information vote.)

46% strongly disapprove. This is the result of relentless propaganda . The good news is 54% are committed enough to understanding what reality actually is not be fooled.

I nominate this for the winner. Yes, this is why there was a huge throng of reporters that descended upon Sandy Hook, CT in December 2012 and even with Obama coming there following Adam Lanza’s bloody rampage. But concerning Kermit Gosnell’s trial, basically no reporters from the alphabet networks or anyone else from the so called mainstream press showed up, even though far more many bloody murders were committed by Gosnell alone than Lanza or the Denver movie theatre shooter.

I was going to say the same thing the real approval rating is probably around 60 to 65%

There are more evil people than good, has always been that way, so, of what use is polls?

Fraud': Mainstream polls use 29% more Democrats than Republicans

Washington Examiner ^ | 09/22/2017 | Paul Bedard Posted on 9/23/2017, 4:30:52 PM by ForYourChildren

Most of the top political polls that got the 2016 presidential race dead wrong are continuing to use a flawed methodology in rating President Trump's approval ratings that favors Democrats, women and younger voters, according to a new analysis.

The report shows that the mainstream polls oversample an average of 29 percent more Democrats than Republicans and the results skew anti-Trump. The result is that it robs Trump of about 8 points in his approval ratings, from 46 percent to 38 percent, it said.

Excellent points.

The media give saturation coverage to certain stories, and other stories may barely be mentioned.
