In an interview w/ Mark Steyn he promulgated the concept of "secularized Christianity" as an opposing force to the islamization of Europe.
Secularized Christianity is an oxymoron and a dead end. In the absence of the Blood of Christ, Christianity means nothing.
You cannot defeat something w/ nothing. Even Dawkins now understands that.

However, I think there is another reason why this is happening. Sadly Europe along with the U.S. is controlled by a few. Globalists etc., the same ilk who initiated the “event” on 911.
They want world control and you can’t have this without instilling FEAR both physically and economically.
Hillary was supposed to be the “first” woman president and the “last” U.S. President.
If she were currently in office, their plan to destroy the U.S. would be right on target. However with Trump pushing back, i.e. standing up for the Anthem/Flag, it is somewhat derailed.
My prediction? Trump drew a line in the sand with this kneeling against our Flag.
This is the beginning of getting our country back.

Just finished the book. I agree that it is a very important work. I will go right back to it again, and re-read it. The book is essentially 3 very well-melded parts: current conditions examined from a broad perspective, a psychological/socio-cultural interpretation of events, and hopeful (probably too hopeful) prescriptions to resolve things in a non-horrific fashion. The comparison of individual “tiredness” (ennui) with national tiredness is intriguing.

Richard Dawkins, (in)famous atheist, has stated that while he reviles all religions he believes that only a deeply held faith can combat another deeply held faith and therefor a revival of Christianity is needed as a counter weight to Islam.
For nearly 50 years we have suffered under the belief that there was nothing we could do to stop the juggernaut of Marxism in our society and government. In a few sort months President Trump has demonstrated it can be stopped. He is building a coalition of patriots with the courage to take on a corrupt establishment and do lasting damage. The HOPE and CHANGE of Obama which contained no HOPE and only horrible CHANGE is becoming the HOPE AND CHANGE of America Rising.
