Mass killer Stephen Paddock bought a high-powered hunting rifle just hours before he arrived in Las Vegas on his mission of death, DailyMail.com can reveal.

But bizarrely the rifle wasn’t one of the 23 weapon haul found by police in his sniper’s nest hotel suite.

His girlfriend was with him once.

I don't get the significance. According to the article: "The worker said Paddock's girlfriend, Marilou Danley, who police named a person of interest in the case, also came in to the shop once. 'The only time we saw Marilou, Stephen was in the store looking around, talking to Chris and I guess she was in the car and she opens the door and says, "Are you done?" 'And he says, "Yeah, I'll just be a second," that was the only time we saw her. He was totally pleasant to her, just said "I'll be a second, no problem."'"

“Paddock also had an electronic signal jamming device active and that is why the cameras were all out on the floor,” the ATF official explained.

There’s food for thought, if true.

My theory is his accomplices got cold feet.

One was to have the vehicle parked in an escape route. Paddock could kid ignite it with a bullet.

Multiple shooters and explosives would have killed 10-20 times as many.

Got news has what they claim is a scoop on this.

I dunno, makes me suspicious. Could be a good cover story to hide whatever they found on those videos.

He was an atheist? That’s news. I thought, according to his bozo brother, that he didn’t care about religion or politics?

Big hotel like that he probably thought he could fire on the crowd for a certain amount of time before they pinpointed his location, stop firing and escape down the hallway into the night. He probably didn’t count on the unarmed security guard. Or maybe the shooter did escape. This is looking to be a whole lot bigger than it appeared.

Oh noes an Atheist!

No worries about an afterlife or judgment.

That worry keeps a lot of people from acting worse than they do.

Another thing in that article...When Stephen came in, the dealer knew him right off and said....

Dealer to Paddock...Hey...have some money for you. We sold one of your guns.

Notice....ONE of your guns.

I am missing your point: The gun shop is located two miles from Paddock’s house. He had brought guns from the shop in the past, and he had consigned guns to the shop in the past. My local gun shop can say the same about me.

I think he is saying that this is proof that the brother’s assertion that “he wasn’t a gun guy” are wrong. It’s evidence he was routinely buying and selling guns.

As opposed to all the “low-powered” weapons he left behind. Geeez...the stupid hurts.
