ARLINGTON Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said any players in his organization who disrespect the flag during the national anthem will not play in games.
Jones is the first owner in the NFL to go on record about disciplining players who disrespect the flag during the national anthem. He didn’t specify kneeling or raising fists in the arm or other gestures made by players around the league.
Jones made his strongest statements regarding the national anthem protests throughout the NFL after Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
“If there is anything disrespecting the flag, then we will not play. Period,” Jones said. “We’re going to respect the flag and I’m going to create the perception of it.”

Had to check the date on this twice. I thought Jerrah already said this last year. Then he turned around this year, joining the players disrespecting the flag, and trying to have it both ways.
