What "unopposed" ???
DeBlasio will easily win re-election due to the overwhelming brain-dead NYC electorate, but he's hardly running "unopposed", as there are six other candidates who will appear on the ballot for NYC Mayor.
The term "unopposed" might rhetorically describe the NYC electorate, but technically it's completely incorrect (ie: Fake News) ... how in heck do these misnomers get started anyway ??

Bill De Blasio was born Warren Wilhelm Jr......he is 56....at 6"5" he is tallest mayor in NYC history.....net worth 1.5 million...his father was German-American, his mother was Italian-American....his father was an alcoholic....he strictly espouses Italian culture (food, etc.) in his personal life and his two daughters have Italian first names.
