The owners and players thought they could count on NFL worship and apathy for political exploitation. They were wrong.
It’s not just the sports world or media that needs it either.

The media, sports-world, “entertainment industry”, and every other face on a boob-tube is in for a real rude awakening very soon.

These pampered, wealthy players can kneel all they want outside their employers' arenas. The league should also prohibit any NFL gear or logos on the players if they want to protest. These "protesting" players are a bunch of whiners that want to protest while at their jobs.
No other employees in the corporate world would be allowed to do what these guys are doing at the office or on company time.
The owners and coaches need to be adults and stand up and tell the players, this is the way it will be or else. Some already have but all need to do it.
Where is Roger Goodell? A "leader" not to be found anywhere. Hiding under his desk instead of saving the NFL from serious problems.
