NBC News is facing increasing questions over why it spiked an explosive story on allegations of rape against Harvey Weinstein.
NBC correspondent Ronan Farrow was asked by Rachel Maddow why his story appeared in The New Yorker and not on an NBC platform.

It’s not at all inexplicable; most any of us in flyover country can “explic” it.
It’s actually pretty explicable. Outside of movie nerds and culture warriors people don’t generally know the names of movie moguls. For 90% of America this story is “somebody you never heard of did bad things, mostly to people you never heard of”. Not exactly the kind of things that keeps eyeballs on commercials.
Hollywood knew for years what this fat b*stard was doing, who are they kidding? Even the people in the restaurant he goes to knew, and they want us to believe they didn’t know? You mean to tell me all these women like Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie who are millionaires and have nothing to lose didn’t gossip about this? Meryl Streep who works with everybody never heard of this? They are ALLLLL full of BS. What I want to know is what did he REALLY do for them to turn on him? Did he make a donation to Trump immediately forfeiting his membership in the lib club where everything is acceptable including pedo sex? Speaking of which, remember that pedo Bryan Singer and the pedo sex parties? Curious he is still working, nobody bothers him as long as he belongs to the “lib club”.
