There is a very useful tool in logic and philosophy called reductio ad absurdum ( “reduction to absurdity” ) which basically takes an argument and extends its assumptions to its limits. If health and now housing is a right then where do these ‘rights’ end? The right to food is the next obvious one and beyond that, what?

Note that these are very VERY different ‘rights’ than our Founders envisioned and articulated in the Declaration and Constitution. The Founder’s concept of rights were not granted by government but were inherit to being a citizen. Their articulation of these rights was for the purpose of forbidding the GOVERNMENT from infringing or denying them.

Bernie, Maxine, Hillary (etc.) have their definition of ‘rights’ as obligations of government to provide and guarantee. Something totally different and, in my opinion antithetical to what we see in the wishes of the Founders.

Note that the phrase is “pursuit of happiness” NOT “guarantee of happiness”!

California secession is looking better every day. Mad Maxine would be in another country. And since that country will have open borders, the US can ship all its non-working citizens there to get their human right housing.

It’s very clear that under DemocRATS, the HUD Sec. handed out wads of cash to Black ‘Leaders’ in Big City Urban areas. When HUD Sec. Bed Carson does NOT hand out wads of cash, Black ‘Leaders’ have a cow!

I still say throw her in jail.

Some state and local lawmakers have been prosecuted for not living in the districts they ran to represent — a requirement under California law. When it comes to Congress, federal law only requires members live in the same state as the district.

In 2010, the House Ethics Committee investigated Waters for steering $12 million in bailout funds to a bank where her husband sat on the board and held stock.

'Housing Is a Necessary Human Right'

And that's why England had poorhouses, we used to have mental hospitals and we still have jails.

You don't work, you don't eat.
