President Trump lashed out on Twitter against the Florida congresswoman who said he told a soldier’s widow that her husband “must’ve known what he signed up for,’ saying she “fabricated” the account and he has “proof.”
“Democrat Congresswoman totally fabricated what I said to the wife of a soldier who died in action (and I have proof). Sad!,” Trump wrote on the social messaging site on Wednesday.
Rep. Frederica Wilson, a Democrat, said she was riding in the car with Myeshia Johnson, the widow of Army Sgt. La David T. Johnson, who was killed in Africa along with three other comrades, when she got a call from the president.
Trump said the sergeant “knew what he signed up for … but when it happens, it hurts anyway,” said Wilson, who overheard the five-minute call on speakerphone.
She shot back at Trump’s tweet on Wednesday, calling the president a “sick man” and noting that he didn’t even known the soldier’s name when he talked to the widow.
“I don’t know what kind of proof he could be talking about,” Wilson said on CNN.

I assume he recorded it? He’s in a tight spot though, it’s a private conversation, but I would LOVE to see him do it and expose yet another Rat as a LIAR.

That's a defensive statement which suggests to me she is lying. OBVIOUSLY the proof would be he recorded it, but right off the bat she is not even going to acknowledge that thought because she knows she is fckt if he releases it.

Isn’t it obvious this was a total setup after the reporter at the press conference pressed Trump about calling the families? We all see what’s going on here and it’s Despicable by these families and the Communist politician. Yes in any event soldiers know they can die at War. There is nothing disrespectful in acknowledging that they signed up knowing what they were facing.
I’m sorry but you have a car load of racist black American politicians who were going to scream and yell about absolutely anything that Trump said. Is this really what the husband wanted when he died at War? This is total bull crap.

In the olden days (2 years ago) she would have gotten away with saying this because no one in the media would have questioned her account of things. Trump would just be pronounced guilty.

There are rules upon rules for preserving communications, from emails to calls to tweets, when you are above a certain level in the government.

Sure seems that way to me. One can only imagine the vile conversation in that car prior to the incoming call.
