The removal and demotion of a handful of veteran operatives stood out, as did what critics charge is the over-representation of Clinton-backed members on the Rules and Bylaws Committee, which helps set the terms for the party's presidential primary, though other Sanders and Ellison backers remain represented.
Those who have been pushed out include:
Ray Buckley, the New Hampshire Democratic chairman and longtime DNC official who ran against Perez for chair before backing Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., lost his spots on the Executive Committee and DNC Rules Committee;
James Zogby, the president of the Arab American Institute and prominent Sanders backer, is no longer co-chair of the Resolutions Committee and is off the Executive Committee, a sport he has held since 2001;
Alice Germond, the party’s longtime former secretary and a vocal Ellison backer, who was removed from her at-large appointment to the DNC; and Barbra Casbar Siperstein, the first transgender member of the DNC who supported Ellison and Buckley, was tossed from the Executive Committee.

Maybe; they could also be looking to put forth a panel of straight white people to deceive voters for the mid-terms and 2020. Obama’s “coalition” is done; too many blacks lost faith in the Dems. They need BJ Clinton’s coalition (though it is probably too late for that); they must address the issues in the upper Midwest, as their coastal bastions delivered in 2016 while the upper Midwest didn’t.

More than a Rat Fight. It is a fight between two extremist factions within the DNC.
Perez represents the Hispanic/Marxist faction while Ellison represents the Moslem/Marxist faction. Each is vying for the leadership of their ethnic/religious brethren.
Perez is more dangerous since his Marxism is linked with leftist Hispanic movements throughout Latin America, esp. over immigration.
Ellison wants the Moslem vote in order to destroy Trump’s travel ban security restrictions.
Zogby represents an amalgam of Islamic Marxists and American leftist Moslems. Always has been. See www.keywiki.org, Palestine Human Rights Campaign and other Zogby family operations. He has been a key pro-PLO propagandist since the late 1970’s and has his fingers in almost every anti-Israel, leftist or Islamic united front organization in America.
