then they would find out what is causing the cave formation:It's an abandoned mine shaft created by the aliens who are doing extensive mining...mostly on the dark side. Everyone knows that. Sheesh.

Let me explaine the mission.... no there is to much let me sum up.
We are going to spend billions of dollars to establish a lunar base on a dead moon and live in a cave.
Everyone will want to come and visit Lunar Base One just to experience cave dwelling.

I know that it is easier to find a cave, but surely if we can get to the Moon, we can make our own caves (and engineer them to be more spacious and efficient in their layout).

I really liked that show as a kid, have all episodes downloaded on my PC.
Used to have a 3 foot model/toy of Eagle One and two communicators when i was young.
