Unfortunately, not that way in New Jersey. The avowed progressive who has promised to raise taxes has a substantial polling lead. Please. Lord, let the polls be as accurate as the presidential polls of 2016...

I am a Virginia voter and I am sick of Democrat Governors.
I will reluctantly vote for Gillespie even though he personifies everything wrong with the GOP before Trump.
He is a NeverTrump for the same reason they all are, open borders/amnesty. The Cheap Labor Express must be kept running.
He is a Bush leftover who has long supported the very open borders policy that resulted in MS-13 even being in Virginia.
Before George W. Bush was President, Virginia was English speaking and mostly safe. It is not anymore.
During Gillespie’s run for Senate he refused to renounce amnesty, that’s why he lost.

Polls?

After 2016 you are still paying attention to polls?

Virginia is now a Blue state. Period.

I all happened because Virginia Republicans and the national GOPe have never fought illegal immigration, and now it’s showing up in the conversion of once solidly red states to blue. Virginia now, Georgia, Arizona, and Texas in the near future.

Illegal immigrants, and legal green card holding immigrants vote in large numbers, mostly in Northern Virginia where the three major jurisdictions (Fairfax, Alexandria, and Arlington) are under solid democrat control. The vote fraud there, with many thousands of non-citizens registered by the SEIU and Hispanic groups, has begun to rival Chicago and Philadelphia.

This has happened because the Republican elites in Virginia, just like the national party hacks, have looked the other way as the illegal invasion turned the state blue. These RINOs living in their own gated enclaves like Great Falls, McLean, Richmond West End, have tossed aside the people to serve their donors at the Chamber of Commerce seeking cheap labor.

We saw the change to blue in California with illegal immigration take place and did nothing.
Now we see it in Virginia and do nothing.
It is spreading, and the only impediment now is Donald Trump - and who is fighting him on illegal immigration? Paul Ryan. John McCain. Lindsey Graham. the Bushes.

I think DC Virginia also manages to “find’ numerous Democrat votes on election night when it becomes apparent that more are needed.

Not to say this poll isn’t true, but Fox has had many polls of late that show Dems far ahead only to have the election turn out the opposite. I don’t believe anything from Fox since the Murdock brothers took over. A couple of programs are also the only ones that seem pretty accurate and not left slanted.

statespoll.com has Gillespie, on average, up by 2%-3%, after adjusting for historical turnout.

It will be interesting to see if their methodology holds after the 2016 election, when the polling bias was so glaringly obvious.

There some good news in tomorrow's weather forecast for Northern Virginia. It'll be 30 degrees colder than today and it'll rain from late morning onward. Snow would be better but this will have to do.

That should keep a lot of your average Northern Virginia Democrat voters away from the polls. Hope the weather is good in the rest of Virginia, that way the two thirds of the citizens in the rest of the commonwealth can at least try to out vote the less than one third of the people who live in Northern Virginia.

Everyone needs to do a lot of praying for this situation. Gillespie’s victory will crush the Rats’ morale.
