These are little things that occur btwen neighbors for years and years. Generally they pile on top of each other as patterns of behaviors. A mountain of little things becomes one big thing.

Quite a big thing....

https://www.wsj.com/articles/rand-paul-faces-prolonged-absence-from-the-senate-1509986943

In a statement, Mr. Paul’s chief political strategist, Doug Stafford, revealed that the second-term Republican had five rib fractures including three displaced fractures, in which a bone separated into pieces and went out of alignment from its typical position. The senator is also suffering from lung contusions, Mr. Stafford said.

Mr. Stafford said such injuries are “also accompanied by severe pain that can last weeks to months” and could affect Mr. Paul’s ability to return to Washington for Senate duties. Mr. Stafford said displaced rib fractures could cause life-threatening injuries to internal organs.

“This type of injury is caused by high velocity severe force. It is not clear exactly how soon he will return to work, as the pain is considerable as is the difficulty in getting around, including flying,” Mr. Stafford said.

The two men own homes in an upscale, gated community a few miles outside downtown Bowling Green, a small city in western Kentucky.

When Kentucky State Police arrived on the scene Friday, Mr. Paul had injuries to his face and reported difficult breathing “due to a potential rib injury,” according to the report. He was seen by a physician, police said.

Mr. Boucher, 59 years old, was subsequently arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault, a misdemeanor punishable by up to 12 months in jail. He was detained overnight at the Warren County Detention Center and released Saturday on a $7,500 bond. He was ordered to stay away from Mr. Paul, his family and his congressional offices.

“It was a very regrettable dispute between two neighbors over a matter that most people would regard as trivial.”...of course, they're not "most people" - Paul is a conservative US Senator, and the neighbor was by all accounts an outspoken hard-left Bernie Sanders supporter - that's most probably why the issue didn't play out the way it would have with "most people".....

Agreed. Taking out a vote or two could turn the Senate vote on key issues.

This crazed next-door neighbor (some "neighbor", huh?) is the very kind of individual who should be put on the list to not be able to buy or own any guns.

Anytime there is a mass shooting by some lone wolf crazy, the liberals and MSM are always in an uproar over new gun controls, euphemistically referred to as gun "safety" laws.

What we should really be looking at is the shooters. They live among us in plain sight. The crazed atheist in Texas had warning signs written all over his life.

This chicken-sh*t liberal who attacked Sen. Paul from the back is one of these crazies living among us in plain sight.

If lawn cuttings sets this guy off to violence with potentially deadly injuries to the victim, then he is a bomb ready to explode somewhere down the road. Put a gun in his hands when he's in one of his violent modes and he could be the next looney mass killer in the news.

I'm just sayin'.......

I only lived in an HOA neighborhood for 5 years of my 70 years. I did serve on the board during that time. My job was their facilities manager. Repaired the streets, fixed broken sidewalks and block fences, painted the complex, maintained the pool and pool area, etc. Things that needed to be done to maintain the neighborhood appearance and our property values.

Not exactly the same as your twisted spin about me being some social justice warrior enjoying being in control.

For the last 8 years, my wife and I have owned and operated and lived on a beef cattle farm in rural Florida. The nearest neighbor is a half a mile away. The only thing I control here is my own destiny.

So you have no idea what you're blathering on about. You just think you do.

Okay, that's fair.

But no more. Please stop. I don't like the drama in these skirmishes on FR. Doesn't accomplish anything but raise my blood pressure.

:-)

Lol it’s fun though and no harm intended! I just hate HOA’s. Used to live in a meddlesome one. Ouch!
