We have not heard directly from the woman. Yes, the WaPo article contains alleged quotes, but those quotes are processed through the paper (Raise your hand if you’ve ever been misquoted – yep, that’s everyone)

Well, one thing they could do right now is strip McCain of his power. Strip him of his Committee Chairmanship and assignments.
Do the same to Flake and Corker, using the “well, they’re leaving” excuse to appoint other Senators in their place right now.
This would cause the NEVERTRUMPERS to stand down and play ball.
But it’s all a pipe dream, because the one yielding power, Mitch McConnell, is in league with McCain, Flake and Corker.
So these four individuals are going to take down party and country because they hate Donald J Trump. GOPe Uber Alles.
