It is very real but probably NOT 30 years ago.
Relationships like this only became possible after the Internet became common and cell phones made it easier.
I’m thinking 2000-2004 is were it really started.
Happened to my brother in about 1980. 16 yo girl at evangelical church. Her parents begged him to marry her.
Well, the next allegation will probably be an out of wedlock child or someone being forced to get an abortion.
