As a veteran, I’d rather they kneel instead of hiding in their locker room. It’s their right to make complete asses of themselves, as it’s my right to turn off the NFL.

If the owners to this, they will be complicit with the kneelers the furor will grow way worse.

Resale tickets prices are in a free fall right now. That means all those season ticket buyers who make money off resale will not be around next year.

You will see a third of the stands empty around the league.....easy.

Gutless. Nothing but gutless.

You NFL owners have already lost me as a fan/viewer.

Now this action makes me want to work actively to turn people away from your pathetic, sad, cowardly actions.

Weird transformation, from a fan, to a non-committed watcher, to a neutral party, to an anti-fan, to an avid advocate AGAINST the league.

All in such a short span of time.

You guys really know how to screw things up.

Millionaire players who hate their country. Cowardly, unprincipled owners who won’t fire them. I’ve stopped watching

Next -— they will just eliminate the National Anthem at games.

For all of his billions, schadenfreude is settling in with Jerry Jones. The Cowboys will never win another Super Bowl until after Jerry passes on to the next plane.

The Cowboys have a golden opportunity at the end of this season, i.e. plenty of reasons to fire a mediocre head coach, Jason Garrett.

And now Jimmy Johnson is a semifinalist for the HOF...lol.

Sounds like the owners are refusing to take on the players and instead opt for the coward's way out.

You're right - that is what it sounds like... they'll please no one...

Perhaps, that article seems a bit old compared to recent developements. They’ve since walk their stance back and now support the player’s right to kneel.

If that be the case, and it is, my boycott of Papa Johns resumes!

These dunderheads are insulting more than half of their customers! When will they ever learn? When will they eeever learn?

If the NFL goes away the semi-literates that fill the NCAA rosters aren’t going to play amateur ball if there’s no payoff in the pros. So the college game will be much different than it is now, which is not a bad thing.

The NFL is now thinking about a new idea – keeping teams in the Locker Room during the National Anthem next season.”””

To be followed by team owners offering paid rides to games for anyone who will pay for a ticket.......

The NFL is cutting it’s own throat.

This might be a good idea because it'll give the fans a chance to loudly boo the players as they take the field, as opposed to doing it during the National Anthem.

And you know their entrance will be during the live televised broadcast, so the folks at home can enjoy it, too.

That’s the right solution, when the National Anthem plays they will run away and hide.
