The College of the Holy Cross is mulling whether to shed its century-old sports symbol the "Crusader" out of concerns the image of a Christian warrior might be offensive to Muslims.

The Crusades were a defensive reaction to 400 years of muslim conquest.

It’s a Jesuit school so they’ll most likely kiss up to “mohammed’s monkeys” to show how “enlightened” they are. Sad that they’ve sunk so low.

College ADMINISTRATORS, the ones concerned with the money issues, are probably concerned here. What percentage of the Holy Cross student body is from a non-Christian & foreign heritage? These students willingly pay full price (or their family/governments do) for their education. The fact that LEFTism and Multiculturalism also desire the denigration of Western Culture, just removes any obstacle from Faculty and Academia.

Spot on - if they’re going to remain the College of the Holy Cross, they’re going to tick off Muzzies looking to be offended just by their very name.
I’ve had relatives who’ve worked in Saudi who told me of walls they’d seen made of cinder blocks stacked rather than staggered - when they asked the natives why, they got the reply that staggering the blocks caused the appearance of crosses in the structure. The heck with structural integrity - makes vampires look less paranoid by comparison.
The college I attended also are the Crusaders. I am wondering how long it will continue, as they have gone from conservative to liberal in 40 years.
