Trump has threatened NK once too much. His threats have lost their punch and Kim Chee is no longer impressed.

"The missile launched, crested at 2,800 feet" Is this a mistake?

Yes, a big mistake. It "crested" at roughly 4,500 kilometers. 4500km X .6 equals about 2700 miles.

"North Korea essentially nuking the ocean would have far-reaching effects and draw international condemnation"

Yes, Europe, Asia and many in the U.S. will point and shake a finger in their direction and give strongly worded responses!!!

What range does this apogee correspond to for a typical ICBM (IRBM) ballistic launch? Assume a modest payload weight.)

At my age 12/7/1941 is significant. That was also a time when we underestimated our enemy. It is the 12 and the 7 together that are significant just like the 9 and 11.

At my age 12/7/42 was insigificant....until 9/11/01.

Suddenly I understoo—and truly appreciated-—my parents’ greatest generation.

It’s funny (not haha funny)

“December 7” is how I’m so used to thinking about it. That exact phrase.

I’m thinking muslim special day maybe something significant to the NK’s, etc. lol
