Long Island police say they foiled an MS-13 kidnapping and murder plot when they saw the intended 16-year-old male victim being lured into a van.
Plainclothes officers arrested five members and associates of the notorious immigrant street gang on conspiracy charges after Wednesday’s takedown in Brentwood, Newsday reported.
President Trump went to Brentwood in July and vowed to crush MS-13, while pledging a tougher approach on immigration. "They have transformed peaceful parks and beautiful quiet neighborhoods into blood-stained killing fields," he said about the gang. "They're animals."
Officers told Newsday that two of the suspects, Vidal Contrera-Ortiz, 18, and Miguel Rivera, 20, were illegal immigrants.

It grieves me to say you’re absolutely right. My baby sister still lives in Nassau County and it’s no longer the place she and her husband moved to 30 years ago.
On the plus side, she’s a slowly recovering NY liberal. I’m guiding her to give credit to Trump for ridding the Island of the MS-13 trash.

Brentwood always did have crime but now it’s really into a new era.

Well, there’s many levels of gangster and associate in the mafia.
Could be as simple as a 16 year old getting a job in an ice cream place, making a copy of the key, giving it to a low level mafiosi, the place gets robbed, the kid gets a kickback, some money goes up to the higher bosses, and everybody’s happy.
Except the guy whose store got robbed. And if for some reason he was there, beaten :(

I used to own a house in the sleepy, out-of-the-way area of Sunland-Tujunga in L.A. County. It's right up against the local mountains.
In the 70s, 80s, and 90s, a 1%er biker gang ruled that area. It was quiet, peaceful, and very safe.
Around the time GWB came to office, the LAPD began systematically suppressing the gang, which caused them to seek greener pastures. Within a few years, the scum of Hollywood and the San Fernando valley began creeping in. By 2004, my once peaceful little town was transformed into a 3rd world, urban shithole.
We sold the house and moved to Texas less than a year later.
To learn of cannibalism within this gang wouldn’t surprise me at all.
