Obama administration undermined anti-Hezbollah task force to help secure Iran nuke deal, report says
Fox News, Politico ^ | December 18, 2017 | Frank Miles

Posted on 12/18/2017 2:03:05 AM PST by familyop

The Obama administration gave a free pass to Hezbollah’s drug-trafficking and money-laundering operations — some of which were unfolding inside the U.S. — to help ensure the Iran nuclear deal would stay on track, according to a bombshell exposé in Politico Sunday...When Project Cassandra leaders, who were working out of a DEA’s Counter facility in Chantilly, Virginia, sought an OK for some significant investigations, prosecutions, arrests and financial sanctions, Justice and Treasury Department officials delayed, hindered or rejected their requests, according to Politico.

U.S. Government and Top Mexican Drug Cartel Exposed as Partners

The link between drugs and crime, including violent crime, would be hard to overstate in Chicago. Eighty-six percent of adult males arrested in Chicago last year tested positive for drug use. Chicago, with a population of 2.7 million, had 506 murders in 2012, the highest per capita among the four most populous U.S. cities.

Point is, this shows just to what lengths they will go to achieve their goals. There is no end that will not justify any means used to reach it.

The stupidity of the deal with North Korea back in the Nineties is an object example of this. We would give them food, money, and assistance in building the nuclear facilities, in exchange for their word they would not develop nuclear weapons.

The blinked a few times, and said “Okay! We agree!”

The Iran thing was just as bad or worse.

I have never, from day one, suspected that the Awan involvement was anything less than complete and total espionage.

Great link, thank you.

"...Former Obama administration officials declined to comment on individual cases, but noted that the State Department condemned the Czech decision not to hand over Fayad. Several of them, speaking on condition of anonymity, said they were guided by broader policy objectives, including de-escalating the conflict with Iran, curbing its nuclear weapons program and freeing at least four American prisoners held by Tehran, and that some law enforcement efforts were undoubtedly constrained by those concerns..."

This is the "Well, our efforts to promote moderates in Hezbollah were complicated, and we didn't want people getting in our way" defense.

"Moderates" in Hezbollah? Really? Really, really? I would like to ask "Good God, who did they think they were dealing with that might have moderate members in it, the local Kiwanis?" The Hezbollah organization is, by definition, extreme, you have to be committed extremists to even get in the front door there. There are no such thing as moderates in Hezbollah. What a bunch of blithering idiots.

Additionally, some people (even on FR) think Putin walks on water and is some kind of good guy, but he was putting extreme pressure on the Czechs not to extradite this guy Fayad. People would be advised to keep in mind what Putin did before he rocketed to the top of the political scene...He was a KGB thug in the Soviet Union. His actions here are simply in line with his political life and upbringing.

One would be hard pressed to look at the situation in Chicago, and look at the actions of people in the Obama administration, and come to any other conclusion except that they wish to keep the unrest and violence at high levels in Chicago.

Goes right along with their Alinskyite worshiping, that when a community organizer finds a problem, instead of fixing it, inflame it to the point of explosion, because that inflammation is far more important and valuable to them than fixing problems.

None of us will ever not know the full scale of Obama’s treachery, not in our lifetimes

Perhaps in 100 years it will be fully revealed. I have no doubt that Obama will be viewed as a man of true evil in generations s to come

“There was no nuclear deal. That was a facade. It was about the hundreds of billions Obama was going to give Iran and the Muslim brotherhood agents installed around his apparatus to insure this would take place. Handsome commissions were paid out. Cash money clean and pretty.”

I think you hit the nail on the head.

"Related article with 100 replies was removed from breaking news last night. I don’t know why."

Have you read the whole story as originally written and illustrated? It's quite an experience!

The real author, illustrators and others who worked on it did a much better job than those who plagiaraphrased their work at other sites. After reading and seeing the whole story, I feel more educated. They even made pictures, so political and defense analyst expert professionals who don't read too good can understand it very easily.

"This lady, who just a year ago was an admitted liberal, is an example of those who have taken the red pill and are letting their new found light drive them. She was hammering this yesterday evening and she is still at it this morning. Her handle says NZ, which I assume is New Zealand.

"

That's great news! Thanks. I wonder how many others are waking up?

I even enabled ads in my browser at the page with the whole, original report!

;-)

The more rewards Politico gets for the contacts made, lives risked by those who chose to give Politico the information for the story and work on writing it up and illustrating it, the better it will be for all of us. The red carpet treatment should go out to any lefties who take the red pill in such big ways, even if for one instance. Same goes for anyone like "NZ" who selflessly brings more attention to such an important revelation.

I know that we will probably see Politico stories written from a left/liberal perspective, but they should see what they can get for publishing information like the story we're looking at now. That's one of the many motivations that can persuade them to "take the red pill," especially with such a dedicated effort.
