They really do want to be their own country, don’t they? Now if they would only take NY, NJ, CT, DC and few others with them I think we could make a deal.

Most of the counties in eastern Calif voted for Trump and have nothing in common with those on the coast separated by the wall of the Sierra Nevada mountains.

How a bout we start a grassroots recall of you position, elected or appointed, and whoever else thinks that whatever may have worked in Massachusetts in 2007 set a precedent for California.
The Constitutionality of the Federal Mandate was never resolved as to Constitutionality.
Calling it a tax may not work at the State level.
I propose starting a petition for a State Constitutional Amendment prohibiting any legislature from mandating California citizens from buying a service they don't want or need subject to a State monetary penalty for failure to do so.You want to continue that stupid game?
We the people of California can, and we will "Prop 13" any illegal law you attempt, as well as starting recall petitions against every legislator who thinks that we the actual working net taxpayers are the servants, and not the masters of the State of California.
Man, these mob-elected criminals really do want a permanent state of antifa-mob-rule armed civil unrest for California, don't they.
THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is in charge of everything ONLY when the president is a DEMOCRAT.

Sorry. At this point, you have to evaluate what’s ‘keeping’ you in CA. If it’s not something you can do without, well, you’re screwed.
If CA Democrats want to impose their own Obamacare mandate, that’s their privilege.
What does though is show how addicted Democrats are to higher taxes.

So the fed’s say no more having to pay for insurance whether or not you want it but CA will impose the same fee so they can say their citizens are insured. Got it.

California suffered a mighty blow today as they lost their big mortgage deduction and their 13% income tax deduction over $10,000. This is so wonderful as this wealth confiscation for illegal aliens and parasites was being subsidized federally by us and we did not want to subsidize their communist transfer of wealth. Now they get to suck it up Buttercup and we could care less.
California: It’s Greece, Venezuela and a TB ward, all rolled into one, fetid mass.
Just as long as Peter Lee and Ed Hernandez (D-West Covina)don’t have to purchase this crap, then oky doky.
Fortunately, any state with a lick of common sense will kick some serious butt to any and all parasites who plan to californicate any state that they chose to move into.
Assuming the existing California parasites have the initiative and means to move to another state which does not welcome indolent dope-dependent welfare guzzling baby-momma and illegal invader parasites.
I predict this will not work out well for California.
