I can think of a couple of catchy tunes that Bono was associated with his band U2. And I’ve pretty much forgotten them.
He’s a one-hit wonder. maybe a two-hit wonder at best.
Like so many washed-up former hit chart placers, he can’t churn anything else good so he goes straight to ... bad-mouthing conservatives in politics, why?
Because he’s in pain when ignored, he craves attention, the spotlight, and it’s a well-known pathway to media attention to say something unflattering about Donald Trump, true or not, doesn’t matter, say anything and get in the press limelight for 15 minutes.
I would have been surprised if Bono wasn’t a liberal just like Bruce Springsteen and Bryan Adams.
AIDS is completely preventable in probably 98% of its victims. The US Government spends many multiples more $$ per AIDS case than it does for Cancer and Diabetes, which are FAR more prevalent among the population and can only be statistically minimized, not prevented, by its victims.
AIDS/HIV funding should be cut drastically and that money applied elsewhere.

Unwittingly (goes without stating) Bono has just qualified himself for a narcissist of the Century award. I’m not sure who would be giving one, but I’m sure the E. U., U. N., the Nobel organization, or even the Democrat party would be the first places to check out, so many great candidates in their ranks and all. The name Hillary comes to mind.
Why Bono is so important, his face should be on the back of the fake photos for a new bit-coin. They could call it the S—tcoin. If it’s value started out less than zero, it would be very fitting. Imagine something so worthless, ten pounds of used kitty liter would be all you needed to buy it.
Most people think of Bono’s singular accomplishment in life as being his work with U2, but I think it has been trashing and coercing every other entity known to man for not giving their money away, while he dodges taxation on his fortune as well as Vince Vaughn or Ben Stiller could have.
Anotherwords, Bonos is a big freakin joke.

The rest of the planet doesn’t hear anything about him until he opens his mouth for another good laugh at his expense.
During one of his insult-a-thons, GW promised $30 billion dollars for Africa, you know, the Continent where civilization started, ended, or just developed methods of destroying not only themselves but advanced civilizations they could only plunder.
Think about that. Instead of bilking citizens to buy his albums, he conned GW to pay out more than even Bono could earn in a lifetime. This was his low water mark.
So yes Bono, let’s give you an award. I think two raspberries and several one handed claps would be fitting, if you’d just donate one side of your face.
