We have a serious case of sour grapes here.
I think we need to take everything with a grain of salt. Since Trump announced his candidacy, how many times have we heard things about him, his team, etc. that turned out to be blatantly false, out of context, inaccurate? It always happens...
In this context he may mean laundering campaign money to hide its origin.
Bannon’s opinions have absolutely nothing to do with what Mueller will decide to do.
However, unless Bannon repudiates these quotes quickly this is certainly a PR disaster lending support to talking points of the Left.
It might have been “dumb politics” but that does not make it remotely treasonous.
Probably anonymous sources, but the Dems and Rinos will love it. -—Anything they can do to cause trouble.
Below are the last Twitter entries on his account. Take note of the one on Dec 29 when he seems to warn us that we are "in for a ride" in 2018.
He also seems to be 100% in support of Trump and MAGA.
So very, very odd situation. I'm not willing to throw him under the bus just yet. I will wait to see his reaction to this story before casting judgment.
Steven Bannon should call Glenn Beck and find out what losing will be like for him.
Fake News.
Here’s SB’s twitter description - sounds like he’s still on the Trump Train:
Steven Bannon @SteveKBannon
Executive Chairman Breitbart News. Still fighting alongside our Leader and President Donald Trump #MAGA
Or it’s just that the author of the book is a liar — see post #17.
But, of course, for anti-Trump concern trolls, such a book must be on target....
Ive always wondered if Bannon was a Jesuit plant.
Then again, Ive never met a conspiracy theory that I didnt like.
Well, of course, accepting this author’s words as true fits right in with the anti-Trump concern troll agenda.

The McMaster Cabal: Lead Operatives in the Deep State Coup Effort to Oust Trump
Written by William F. Jasper
Are top-level members of the Trump administration colluding on ways to oust President Trump? Are members of Trumps Cabinet and National Security Council plotting a coup? Is National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster among those whom former Trump political adviser Roger Stone alleges (see here and here) have been having conversations about removing Trump from office? There is ample reason for seriously considering the stunning allegations. And there is good reason to believe that General McMaster (shown) would figure prominently in any such effort.
I will wait to see his reaction to this story before casting judgment.
***
But that makes too much sense. The anti-Trump concern trolls here are more than happy to latch onto the author’s words about Bannon.
As far as I recall, there wasn't a Russian government representative at the meeting, just a private lawyer who was Russian.
If a so-called journalist can make that big of a mistake, I don't think much else of what he says can be trusted.
Alabama was a once in a million anomaly.
It all started with Gov. Bentleys affair with a much younger woman, the audio tapes of him speaking to his married paramour about her breasts while she was making big bucks with dark money funds. If you wanted the governor, you went through Rebecca Pay the Lady Mason.
Luther Strange accepted the senate appointment while serving as Attorney General. So of course the investigation into Bentley and Mason died.
So no, Alabama was not going to elect Strange, no matter what.
That set the stage for Judge Roy Moore. Then a forged yearbook and an accuser represented by a law firm owned by Ed Gentle, the treasurer of the Alabama Democratic Party set the stage for a GOP defeat. As well as some rather obvious vote fraud.
It’s a fake.
