White House Blasts Michael Wolff Book as ‘Trashy Tabloid Fiction’
breitbart ^ | CHARLIE SPIERING

Posted on 01/03/2018 1:23:26 PM PST by davikkm

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders released a statement condemning a new tell-all book about the Trump administration by Michael Wolff. “This book is filled with false and misleading accounts from individuals who have no access or influence with the White House,” Sanders said.

Wolff cites more than 200 interviews with sources for the book and multiple meetings at the White House over a period of 18 months.

But Sanders decried many of those sources, including former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, who returned to Breitbart News as chairman after leaving the White House.

“Participating in a book that can only be described as trashy tabloid fiction exposes their sad, desperate attempts at relevancy,” she said.

Lot of demonstrably false info in this book. Stuff popping all over Twitter as more begin reading the book.

Makes me wonder if Trump is just “flooding the zone” with misinformation. Why else would the author have been given the access?

Steve Bannon has destroyed himself. As for mentally unstable, author, Michael Wolff...he will follow in the footsteps of Hillary Clinton having a flash of idiots purchasing his fairy tale tome...wasting their money, fools that they are.

Wolff like Clinton will travel the book signings and TV interviews, and then he will fade into everlasting obscurity...forever. He can join Clinton, and Obama in God’s “acid” cesspool for those that hate the American nation. Case closed!!! Go POTUS, Donald J. Trump...MAGA!!!

I think many of them don’t like Trump and are hoping that Mueller will find a real charge to file. This book will give them something to do for a few days. But arguably the fact that Bannon (alleged “white supremacist” etc.) trashed Trump (assumung that he actually did) is a positive for Trump among that group.

Yes, I'm waiting to see if there is any "there" there. Trump isn't going to make any friends among his liberal enemies, and I don't think he should be trying to make any enemies among his conservative friends. I would have contacted Bannon to see if there was anything to these accusations before I launched into an attack on him.

But yes, the anti-Trumpers, including the Liberals, are trying to find any excuse to take out Trump. These people didn't like Ronald Reagan either.

I’m not all that certain about Bannon. The rest of what I said I’m more confident about. I think there’s a lot of deception in play, but the Bannon acrimony may be real.

It seems like Kushner cozied up to Drudge many months ago, and after that happened , Drudge started hammering Bannon ...

This might shed some light on this current situation :

You are right .. Bannon needs to reject it if it’s false ...reading published excerpts from this book , it reads like total fiction ...

I’ve been stunned at Drudge’s relentless attacks on Bannon these past 6 months .

This article might shed light on it :

Interesting. You’ve got me thinking.

The Bannon quotes from the Wolff book are simply laughable. They are hard to take serious, yet we know Trump’s enemies will believe them. This whole thing is fascinating.

Just saw this being reported, on FoxNews as Breaking News...

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-attorney-sends-bannon-cease-desist-letter-disparaging/story?id=52128555

....In the letter to Bannon, Harder, writes, “You [Bannon] have breached the Agreement by, among other things, communicating with author Michael Wolff about Mr. Trump, his family members, and the Company [the campaign], disclosing Confidential Information to Mr. Wolff, and making disparaging statements and in some cases outright defamatory statements to Mr. Wolff about Mr. Trump, his family members.”

In the letter, Trump’s attorney says that “remedies for your breach of the agreement include but are not limited to monetary damages” though no dollar amount is disclosed.

Bannon has not responded to ABC News’ request for comment.

During the campaign, then-candidate Trump had all campaign staff sign a non-disclosure agreement which required all staff, according to campaign sources, to refrain from any disparaging comments against the candidate, his family or the Trump campaign and organization....

Boy, oh boy, there are some interesting forces at work in this flap. I do not believe any of it until I hear from Bannon and Trump directly.

Trump has proven himself to be the one one we can trust.

He is the only uncorrupted man in Washington

I heard on Fox News that he confirmed his statements to Wolff.

Besides - If he did not make the statements, he’s had plenty of time to come out and refute them - AND HE HASN’T DONE SO.
